Membership
Employees of any educational facility within Lycoming County may join the Williamsport Teachers Credit Union.
Family members of current members are also eligible for membership. It's easy to join. Give us a call and we
will walk you through the process.
Once a Member, Always a Member! When an eligible person opens an account, that member is welcome
to utilize the services of the Credit Union, even in the event of a career change or retirement.
An account with us allows you to make deposits through payroll, ACH, mailing a check or stopping by the office
with a check or cash.
You can also have payments taken directly from your account to pay items like vehicle payments, electric bills,
insurance payments and much more.
An online account allows you to monitor transactions, transfer between accounts, request a check to be mailed
and set up automatic payments.
Tired of shredding statements - sign up for E-Statements you can view and print your statements any time you
need them.
Federally insured credit unions offer a safe place for you to save your money, with deposits insured up to at
least $250,000 per individual depositor. Share Insurance Coverage.
Refer a Friend Rules and Regulations
Eligibility
Active members whose account is in current and good standings can participate in this program. Share draft and loan
accounts must be positive and on time.
“Friend” is defined as an eligible person that meets the criteria for membership to Williamsport Teachers Credit
Union. Referred person is required to be a permanent employee of an educational facility in Lycoming County.
Referred person must be a U.S. Citizen and at least 18 years of age at the present time. “Friend” cannot be a spouse
or partner to the existing member.
Defining a Valid Referral
It’s as easy as telling an eligible person about us, having them mention you by name when they come in to open their
account, and having $50.00 deposited into your Primary Shares when the account has been opened!
Referred person must mention the name of the person that referred them while they are in the branch, actively
opening the account. No exceptions will be made for a later mention of a referring party.
Limitations
Maximum of 5 refer a friend related deposits per member per year.
Only primary account holders qualify to earn you the $50.
Right to Modify
Williamsport Teachers Credit Union reserves the right to discontinue or change this program at any time, without
prior notice.
